Aron’s words when I announced that JCrew now sells things for babies. Don’t worry–no cashmere sweaters in Hudson’s immediate future. But I’ll be watching.

Opening Ceremony just added retail for kids! Duds by brands like Jean Paul Gautier seem a little decadent for our bebe, but you gotta know I love the French Sailor shirts. And there are some really cool things for gifting. [Via Style Revue]

I just went back and looked at this guest post I wrote (pre-baby) for Alyson about a potential outfit for a nursing mom, and I’m happy to say that I still think it would be a good one! (The one challenge I encountered was that most of my pre-baby button-downs didn’t fit my post-baby chest–at […]

Teeny-tiny baby footwear might just be one of the cutest things. Ever. (Well, right after teeny-tiny baby toes.) Pairing up little socks when we did our first load of laundry elicited a good deal of oohs and ahhs. And when he needs shoes, I would love to see him sporting a pair of these! Aren’t […]

This stretchy fabric band has been a lifesaver and it’s still working for me, letting me wear non-maternity pants and slightly-too-short shirts at nearly 33 weeks into my pregnancy. There are plenty of generic versions–and I’m sure they work fine–but I’ve been really […]

Our friend brought us a prediction for our baby’s future, neatly tied-upĀ in a cute little sack. With the pull of a string, it was revealed that he will be a (drumroll): Fortune Cookie Writer! Mysterio Predicts tees each feature a different occupation, and you never know what comes inside: Game Show Host? Donut Tycoon? […]

Every year, it seems, I find myself searching for the perfect summer sandals. Oddly, the pair that I seem forever trying to replace was a $16 pair from Payless! After Aron’s resuccitation efforts failed (the lovely fellow tried surgically stitching them back to life), I’ve spent untold riches in search of their equal. This year, […]
