Our mobile just arrived! We chose a handmade, paper mobile by Frazier and Wing: “Sunshine” (top image). It’s more subdued that some, but our wallpaper around the crib is so high-contrast that this seemed to be the perfect choice. All of Heather Frazier’s collection is really beautiful. However, we did do a lot of looking […]

With our little one being born in the Year of the Rabbit, I made sure to snap up some of these Lunar New Year Forever stamps. Wouldn’t they be a nice gift to an expectant friend? The series will continue through 2019 with stamps for the Year of the Dragon, Snake, Horse, Ram, Monkey, and […]

Aron and I were in Kate’s Paperie Soho this weekend and spotted the most adorable party-in-a-box kits by Meri Meri. The animal parade kit even comes with a garland that could do double duty as an over-the-crib decoration. A few–like the Robot party, Animal Parade, and Dinosaur kit–were discounted 70% for the shop’s spring sale. […]

I’ve been eyeing the cute kids’ wallpaper at Ferm Living for a while now, and Aron and I just ordered a roll of the Animal Farm! I love the gender-neutral theme. I can’t wait for it to arrive. We’re going to paper the wall behind our mini-crib to set off the space. (Image: Ferm Living)

Our little one will no doubt be well-documented enough without a professional session, but I can’t help but be inspired by images like these. I spotted Caroline Tran’s series on Pinterest, via Joy Cho. I love all the details and how it captures scale. Speaking of photography, there’s a recent bump shot on Hither […]

Aimée Wilder’s wallpapers would be great in a kids’ room (even just as a framed panel). I think I like the Astrobots most of all. [Images from Aimée Wilder; top paper: Robots]

Aron and I started Hither and Thither, a travel and lifestyle blog about our lives in New York (and elsewhere) a few years ago. Now, as we anticipate our first baby, I decided I wanted a separate space for baby and kiddo-related things: to share thoughts on pregnancy and parenting, indulge shopping and design interests, […]
