Cheap thrills

  Some favorite, inexpensive discoveries of late (these would make great gifts for little and big kids alike): 3-D Magical Drawing Pad, Dragon Hands (or Animal Hands or a host of other temporary tattoo options for talking hands), and the adorable Thumbprint Notecard Set. We tested the 3D drawing pad and it really works!

Urban baby

Not too long ago, we brought stuffed rats back to California–bearing a note “Greetings from New York”–for our little cousins (which they loved, possibly to their parents’ horror). These hand-knit, urban hallmarks would have been wonderful alternatives! Aren’t they charming? [Metrocard/Taxi/Pigeon]
