Week 35

by Ashley on June 27, 2011

One of the joys of taking these weekly photos has been paying such close attention to the changes in our little park. Right now it’s probably in peak bloom. There was a time, a few weeks back when–with the Cherry and Dogwood and Magnolia trees and the tulips all out–that it didn’t seem like it could get any better. But now the hydrangeas are blooming and every bush seems to be ablaze with bright color! It’s really hard to say that it’s been prettier.

Of course, with the time clearly passing, we’re really feeling aware that we get to meet this baby soon! Aron and I find ourselves amazed as we watch him moving around and adjusting.  He’s definitely getting bigger. Now if only he’d drop down a bit and give my ribs a break from those pains! I’m really looking forward to my next doctor’s visit: maybe we’ll get more of a clue which little parts are where and whether that little hard bit I feel, for example, is his heel. Maybe?

Ooh, check out spinningbabies.com It’s a great site to help you identify which hard parts are what, and help get the little one in ideal positioning for when it’s time to make their big entrance!

You’re looking very pregnant Ashley- I’d say that baby is coming in about 4-5 weeks- give or take a week 🙂 You look wonderful. Can’t wait to see you guys and meet the new addition in October.
