Our neighbors just had a baby–a sweet, beautiful little boy! We were over visiting recently and they were expressing that one of their challenges was keeping track of all of his various bodily functions, his sleep patterns and feedings.
To help make this easier, one can purchase baby-log apps for a smartphone, or keepsake books with pages for baby logs, but I keep hearing recommendations for the ITZBEEN Timer. It basically keeps track of how long it has been since your baby last slept, ate, or was changed–with the press of a button. There are four timer buttons with little icons; after each interval of care, you press a button to reset the timer. There’s also a left/right breastfeeding reminder, a nightlight, and an alarm.
One can imagine how (especially in a fog of sleep deprivation) it would be handy to know whether–when the baby is fussy–it has been one hour or two since he or she was last fed with just a glance at the timer. It seems super handy!
And the folks at ITZBEEN have been kind enough to offer one to a baby mine reader! To enter to win one of their baby care timers, please leave a comment below by tomorrow night, Wednesday, 11:59 p.m. The winner will be chosen at random and announced here on Thursday. Be sure to leave me a way to get in touch with you, should you win. (You’ll also get to choose a color: blue, green, or pink!)
