City Walks with kids

by Ashley on May 3, 2011

Aron’s parents bought us the New York City Walks flashcards by Chronicle, and we used to take them along with us when we were first navigating the city. Now they have sets specifically geared for parents going on walks with their kids in places like New York, Paris, San Francisco and London. Sometimes big cities can seem intimidating to families; these would be so great for someone tackling a metropolis with little ones in tow.

I love this series! We often buy them pre-vacation. It’s so nice to have some information ahead of time about pretty walks to take. You get so much more on foot!

We’re traveling to Paris with the kids this summer, and now I want these cards! What an awesome idea. Looks like a great way to get them excited about what we’ll see/do in advance.

Thanks for the tip!

I love city walking with the kids. Plus, my husband and I always seem to have great conversations when we’re strolling along in a new city. What a gorgeous idea!

It’s definitely my favorite way to see a city! Thanks!

Such a GREAT idea! I wish I had know of these when I lived in NYC with my first baby. Even though we are such “city rats” still, they may come in handy anyway…I now have 3 little ones in tow!

A great gift idea.

Thanks for sharing your find…I am linking you to my post today!

PS – I live your new blog! Happy Baby!
