We tend to document everything (could you have guessed?), but I often miss the feeling of pouring over hand-held photo albums and mementos. Someone gave us this beautiful PetitCollage memory box and baby book recently, and I can’t wait to start filling it with photos and details of our baby’s first year. By the way, when you remove the wrapping in the first photo, the outside of the box features simply the pair of birds and their hatchling. And there’s a drawer for holding things like announcements or birth documents with glassine envelopes. Aren’t the illustrations by Lorena Siminovich sweet?

love the memory box and your blog(s). thanks for taking the time to produce them and share. above is a link to the most beautiful cradle/rocking chair. it might be nice for a small apartment. all the best.
Thanks, Michele! So cool!
oh how I wish i had the drawer compartment!! it would be super handy! I try my best at documenting everything – I even saved the hospital bracelets and the first mail envelope addressed to our little one. It’s always a nice surprise to see who does it first too!
woops meant to say I try my best at documenting everything but it doesn’t happen always
That’s so sweet, Olivia! Now I’ll be sure to notice and remember.
So in love with this — but it’s out of stock everywhere I’ve tried to find it online.
Fingers crossed that I can find one soon!
Oh, I hope it’s not out of stock! Try one of these shops; it looks like there should be one available (http://tinyurl.com/6k9ja3n)–or perhaps ask giggle for a back-in-stock alert? (http://www.giggle.com/eng/product/deluxe_baby_book_memory_box/9780811868112)
What a great pressie. One you will treasure, that’s for certain!
