28 weeks

by Ashley on May 9, 2011

I definitely feel like I turned a corner as soon as this trimester began:  my feet now hurt if my shoes are too flat (there go those cute gladiator sandals I lived in last summer); I’m suddenly have more trouble getting to sleep (there’s something big and round in the way); and I keep making all of these involuntary groans when I bend over to pick things up or pull myself up from the sofa (seriously, can’t help it!). That said,  I gave myself a little fist-pump last night when I mapped out Aron’s and my Sunday walk around Manhattan and saw that we covered just over 10 miles! Falling-asleep-issue solved.

Well though you may not feel it, you look fab’! In fact, you’re a super stylish mama-to-be. I also love your tee, your skinny jeans and your flats! 12 weeks to go, yikes! 😉

oh man, just like you, I hit the 3rd trimester and it was like wham. all the good stuff from the 2nd went out the window and the aches, pains, tiredness all came at once! do you have a body pillow? that’s one thing I wish I’d gotten!

all things aside, you look fantastic!

Thanks, Alyson! I’ve been commandeering three of our four pillows recently, but it might be time to get an extra long one. Good luck on getting Mr. W to make his debut soon! 🙂

You look lovely!
I remember people reprimanding me for wearing heels and wedges while I was pg, but flats were the absolute worst. They made my back ache and I even took a tumble (yikes). Even now that I’m toting around my year old twins, I still prefer a slightly elevated heel. Does that make me a “well balanced” mom???

So funny, Tamara! Why yes, yes–I think it does!
